Adding Images to Your Page
Images help make your landing page more engaging and professional. LightPage supports multiple image types and formats.
Image Types Available
- Hero Image - Main banner image at the top of your page
- Gallery Images - Up to 5 images in a gallery grid
- Avatar/Profile Image - Personal or brand photo
Adding a Hero Image
The hero image is the first visual element visitors see. Make it count!
- Open your page in edit mode
- Find the "Hero Image" upload field
- Click "Choose File" or drag and drop your image
- Wait for upload to complete, then click "Save"
Tip
Use landscape images (16:9 ratio) at least 1920x1080px for best results.
Creating an Image Gallery
Add up to 5 images to showcase products, portfolio work, or visual content.
- Scroll to the "Image Gallery" section in your editor
- Upload images one by one (up to 5 total)
- Images will automatically display in a responsive grid

Gallery limit: 5 images per page. Choose your best visuals!

LightPage accepts all modern web image formats.

- ✓ PNG - Best for logos, icons, and images with transparency
- ✓ WebP - Modern format with excellent compression and quality
- ✓ AVIF - Next-generation format with superior compression
- ✓ GIF - For simple animations and graphics
- ✓ SVG - Vector format, perfect for logos and icons that scale perfectly
Image Best Practices
Optimize File Size
Keep images under 2MB for fast loading. Use compression tools before uploading.
Use High-Quality Images
Choose sharp, well-lit photos. Minimum 1200px width recommended for hero images.
Respect Copyright
Only upload images you own or have permission to use. Consider free stock photo sites like Unsplash or Pexels.
